Our research group of “accounting guidelines for sectoral greenhouse gas emissions” carries out survey on aviation and power enterprises

In order to complete the basic work of national carbon emissions data statistics and verification, better promote the construction of carbon trading pilot of “two provinces and five cities”, NDRC organizes relevant entity to research and formulate accounting guidelines and report template of greenhouse gas emissions for enterprises of key sectors. The first batch of sectors covered the power, steel, cement and flat glass, chemical, nonferrous metal and aviation sectors. Our company undertakes the accounting guidelines and report template of greenhouse gas emissions of  power and aviation sectors. In order to formulate the scientific and reasonable accounting method, our research group of “accounting guidelines for sectoral greenhouse gas emissions” has visited a number of aviation and power enterprises to carry out survey recently.
On 29th. October 2012, our research group went to China Eastern Airlines Group to carry out survey on the greenhouse gas emissions of aviation enterprises. The department of Eastern Airlines in charge of energy and environmental protection gave strong support to this investigation and introduced the current statistics system of aviation sectors. We discussed important matters such as the accounting method of the greenhouse gas emissions of aviation enterprises which provided strong support for successful implementation of the project.
On 31st. October 2012, our research group went to State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) for the survey on the greenhouse gas emissions of power grid enterprises. Relevant leaders from science and technology department, production technology department, development planning department, power trading center, north China international power economic & trade corporation of SGCC provided strong support for this survey. We discussed  important matters such as the accounting method of the greenhouse gas emissions of power grid enterprises and proposed many useful suggestions on the accounting and reporting guidelines of power grid enterprises. The influence of carbon emissions constrains, carbon trading pilot, VER market to power grid enterprises has also been discussed.

Our research group will summarize the recent survey and strive to make the project better applicable to the enterprises and make contributions to the basic work of national carbon emissions data statistics and verification.
