SinoCarbon Staff Participated in Zukunftsbrücke: Chinese-German Young Professional Campus

The first Chinese-German Young Professional Campus was held in Beijing and Hangzhou from May 14th to 24th. Mr. Wang Wenqiang, the senior project manager of SinoCarbon Innovation & Investment Co., Ltd., was selected as one of 15 Chinese representatives. Joined by 15 German representatives, young professionals from China and Germany had a 10-day discussion on topics such as Low-Carbon Economy and Sustainable Urban Development in China and Germany. Participants of the Campus represent outstanding young professionals of various fields including climate change, low-carbon economy, urban planning, new energy and carbon finance, etc. Through professional, social and other multi-level exchanges, youth from two countries are able to establish a network of communication, and to cultivate a deep friendship, which is expected to lay the groundwork for future exchanges between the two countries in areas of low-carbon economy and sustainable urban development.

The “Zukunftsbrücke: Chinese-German Young Professional Campus” is a project initiated by Stiftung Mercator in cooperation with the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF) and is organized by the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) and Peking University. The project will be held once a year in the future 10 years, aims to strengthen the youth exchanges and China-Germany relationship.
